INSTORE SOUND FAQ

Q: What happens if I want to upgrade my account / package?

A: You can upgrade your account or package at any time, simply contact us and we will do the rest.

Q: Am I able to cancel my contract early?

A: Yes you can, although there is an early termination fee, please contact us for more information.

Q: Do I need an internet connection?

A: We recommend an internet connection as we can keep your audio up to date. If you don’t have we can supply a wireless internet connection or simple to use USB Updates, please contact us for more information.

Q: Can I use my own or other audio apart from audio supplied by you?

A: Yes you can, please contact us for more information.

Q: What happens if the player fails?

A: You lease the player from INSTORE SOUND. If the INSTORE Player fails we will send you a replacement player (within 24 hours)at no extra cost.*

Q: Who owns the player?

A: The player remains the property of INSTORE SOUND.

Q: What happens if the player is lost, damaged or stolen?

A: If the player is lost, damaged or stolen, you will be required to pay an additional fee for the repair or replacement of the player depending on the circumstances.

Q: Can I supply INSTORE SOUND with monthly or weekly audio (CD or MP3) to update all my store's players?

A: Yes you can, please contact us for more information.

Q: What is music licensing?

A: Music licensing (APRA/PPCA fees), is required for all public performances of any recorded content. INSTORE SOUND will pay these charges on your behalf for the duration of the contract allowing you to use the audio provided in your store.

Q: Can I use the player anywhere else?

A: No, the music is only licensed for your place of business as stated in the agreement with INSTORE SOUND.

Q: What happens once our agreement term is finished?

A: Once the agreement term has completed, you can either choose to renew your agreement or not. If you decide not to renew your agreement you are required to return the INSTORE player to INSTORE SOUND.

Q: Do I get to keep a copy of the audio after the agreement has expired?

A: No, the audio is only licensed for the duration of your agreement with INSTORE SOUND.

Q: How is payment required?

A: We accept Direct Debit (bank or credit card) or quarterly invoice.

Q: Do I need speakers and an amplifier in my store to use INSTORE SOUND?

A: Yes. If you don't have them we can organise a separate quote for this. You can also use a small desktop stereo system for smaller stores.

Q: Can I run advertisements at specific time of days

A: Yes, we can give an approximate time when your messages will run. We can schedule messages to run according to:

- specific days of the week
- specific dates
